Wait, does this mean that you have a humbucker in the neck position of your blueshawk? Which means that you have the original pickup laying around somewhere?

Well, I acually kind of cheated. I haven't been able to bring myself to route the body of that thing yet. I got the PGn a few months ago, but have yet to install it.

Wait, so is the grungey sound I can get out of a bluehawk more because of the pickups, or more because of the dummy coil?

The dummy coil is just a hum cancelling trick. It is like having another single coil pickup in series (it is wired to the exact same specs as the other two), but the dummy coil produces no sound.
