Re: Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster VS American Special Mahogany Stratocaster
HSS Strat. The LSR nut's propensity to not bind / allow anything from 8-38 to 12-56 witout refretting, and the american deluxe saddles with the low-angle cuts mean you won't bind / go out of tune.
The american special was supposed to be a limited run of about 1000 or so, problem is they've proven popular beyond Fender's wildest dreams and GC loves to keep one in stock for the person who wants everything from SRV to AC/DC in one strat. I love my american Special HSS and it's an early run (neck says Feb 12, 2007 on it).
which tremolo is better?

I say JM, because A) it's going to be collectible, worth 100 million dollars one day, and B) Wide Rangers are awesome, C) it looks better than a Strat, and D) having something different is so cool
