yup.sometimes when the axe is shinny the lighting make it look like scratches. lighter LPs are hard to come by. :headbang:

Re: Les Paul guitars appreciation thread

I have 3 LP Style

Here's my Edwards: https://forum.seymourduncan.com/showthread.php?t=41642

A very nice guitar, I've been playing it a lot since I got it, a much more vintage vibe. Gonna get a set of PAF style pu's for it soon I think.

My LP Studio is pretty much identical to Xssive's and I havent got pics of that anyway. This is what I use for Drop-D stuff ATM, quite a dark sounding guitar.

The other is a Hohner LP Goltop (P90) that I picked up at a boot sale for £20, it needs a bit of work but not bad for the money.

I also have a weird 70's cheapo Avon flat bodied DC style with 2 single coils on it and a wraparound bridge, don't know if that one counts?

yeah all brushed hardware, tuners, truss rod cover, pickups and all...even the switch tip, it's a limited edition model and it's not actually 100% black it's like a metallic black/charcaol...very cool in person

here is a stock pic of it...it was a bit tacky to me so i stripped it down.

Re: Les Paul guitars appreciation thread

I guess officially I should not post here but I must say I am really enjoying my left handed Agile 3500 with Duncan JB/Jazz combo. I jammed with buddies after getting it several weeks ago and the next day i felt like the hunchback after having 10 pounds on my back for 1 1/2 hours. but now that im used to it i love the weight i simply think it is easier to play them my mex strat...I don't know if the real LP"S are that much greater then this top of the line Agile but if they are they must be sooo very sweet.

5 now but I don't have a picture of my new LP Jr. yet. Here is a the bigger version of my avatar which was taken before Jr. joined the family.

Gary Moore Sig, 58 Reissue, Standard and Studio.

I'm doomed if my wife ever sees this picture. I never have them out at the same time or the questions start- "Aren't those all the same, why do you need so many?" Oh, they just don't understand.

Re: Les Paul guitars appreciation thread

I have one in my mind or in my wish list. I have to save a lot.
