Lesson learned about Floyd Rose bridges

Last week I got an ESP LTD M-100FM with a Floyd Rose Special bridge. I really like the guitar, but noticed that one or two of the saddles seemed to be getting stripped out in the back where the locking screw goes in. I couldn't find a replacement set in the black nickel, but got one in satin chrome. When I went to put them in yesterday I didn't know they had different heights, so when I first put them in they were all messed up. I finally got them fixed and am now working to get the intonation set. Lesson learned.

Saddle adjustment screws next I bet? Those are usually the first to go if setups get changed a few times.
Are your new saddles off another special or 1000-series?

Might be a good idea to replace the screws going into the saddles also because they might well be the reason the saddle's internal threads got stripped.

These are a replacement set for a Special. The screws going into the saddles looked fine, but I'll end up replacing the blocks next as they had some grooves in them. I'd say the previous owner really cranked down on this stuff too much.
