You get one guitar, and one guitar only. No other restrictions. All your other gear is available without limitation. Describe what you would choose. I'll save my thoughts for after you've given me some to steal.

A Les Paul with a thinner neck and JB in the bridge. I've honestly never been one for versatility or variety of sounds. Give me a guitar that chuggs with a 90's kinda grind, and I'm set.

My SG with Duncans...or Id have to change my forum name. And Sam Les Paul Jr Double Cut Tribute dont have a ring to it.......or does it??

Tricky it would depend on the gig. If it were with my band half of our songs are on the 7 string so it would have to be my Schecter KM-7

Hmmm.

If it's for home use, I'd probably go with my acoustic - a Taylor 716. That's the guitar that almost all of my writing happens with.

For playing out I'd go with an electric though. In that case probably my Warmoth Jazzmaster. It's comfy to play, easy to access the higher frets, the injector singles I've got in it sound great clean and distorted and are humbucking, big stainless steel frets, and a floyd means I can whammy when necessary and it never goes out of tune. There are other guitars I've got that do specific things better, but this one works pretty well for everything. Also it's neon pink, which is the best colour a guitar can be.

Pics?

I''ve been playing 37/38 years and still haven't found it.

I reckon a Musicman Luke with JB and two apache singles would be pretty close, but I would rather a set neck.

...I'd settle for a HSS strat style with those pickups though.

Can I choose someone else's guitar?

I really want a Gibson scale super strat

My Ehdwuld headless are effectively that

I rarely use the trem bar

I like to think it's more of a shredmaster than a jazzmaster at this point. : P

I have nudes too if you're into that sort of thing:

dont love the switch placement, but love everything else about it

Yeah, I put it there because I wanted to be able to switch between pickups really easily when playing. It works for that, but I find it annoying where it is sometimes when I'm trying to do tapping - it gets bumped by the underside of my wriist. If I was buying another pickguard I would probably move it to the other side of the pickups.
