In what way is that a Maiden strat? No offence, I just don't see the connection?

How's this? 2 SSL-1s and a Brobucker, callaham trem, onyx forge stainless steel insert kit, luxe caps, LSR nut, 5 springs decked and clamped bridge... it's a "vintagey superstrat!" (Do vintage-aimed superstrats count?)

Re: lets see those super strats!!

Warmoth body and neck, WD black abalone pick guard, Dimarzio ToneZone bridge pickup, GFS 2 point tremolo, Schaller locking tuners.

Carlson PG70 superstrat w/ Full shred neck, dimarzio virtual vintage solo middle, and PATB-1 bridge. It has a thin body with arch top and back; neck thru construction. There was a finish flaw crack on the neck joint as you can see when I bought it. I was actually planning on sanding down the neck one of these days.

Look really close at the headstock. There's an Eddie logo there. This Strat was made only in 2001 and was crafted in Japan. Basswood body, OFR, maple neck and board, came with 2 Hot Rails and a JB Jr. in the bridge. The mirror guard is long gone, and I didn't get it with the guitar anyway, but I have a nice black pearl guard with the stock pickups in it. I bought it from Mike (XSSIVE).

Stock picture and a shot of the headstock can be seen here:

Re: lets see those super strats!!

thanks for the kind words on my guitars guys!

PF...if you want more chunk from #003 stick a tone zone in it that will make it sound MASSIVE. every time i play my flamed charvel which has a tone zone i have to re-adjust my amp and overdrive pedal since it's so much thicker than the other guitars with JBs and C5s.

Re: lets see those super strats!!

i have many modded strats and parts guitars that may fall under the heading of a super strat... but the ones i have that i can call true super strats are a 89 Fernandes, an 80's Kramer, a 87 Charvel, and a few 90's Jacksons... saddly no pic's....

I think you're the forum's "pusher man" for Super Strats, between CLones and other guitars you have supplied a good number of people with guitars!

I just may try out a Tone Zone... Same dual screw design as the PAF Pro, right?
