Can the 30 watt VT play heavy metal? Can you play in a band with it? Because I'm not willing to spend the $400 to buy the 50 watt VT. Whereas, the 100 watt XL is $300, on account of it being the older model.( Probably won't get 100 watts anyway, just used it to show my point)

Ahhh, ok, I see what your are saying. No, 30 watt is not loud enough.

Well I have made my decision. Its gonna be the Vox VT50. I was at GC today and I first played the Xl then the VT and wow, I really didn't want to leave the store, the VT was a dream. As soon as my next paycheck comes in I'm ordering it.
