Just saw this thing on the internet . . . what do you think about it ?
http://line6.com/amplifi/
. . . where is it all gonna end ?

Not for me. I've heard that even the Vetta heads sound nicer.
The Vetta is actually pretty wicked.
Line 6 needs to focus on that tech instead of bluetooth speakers. Just because you can connect a bluetooth transmitter to your guitar via a 1/4 inch jack and play through an Ihome doesn't mean you should.
Seems to me, that this thing is 'kinda' like a low end Bose-like iPad entertainment thingy for your room, that just happens to have capability for you to plug your Epiphone or Squire into, to jam with your fav Blink 182, or Green Day songs !
Am i wrong with my perception of this product ?
I suggest trying it. your local GC will have it sitting in the middle of the store and ready to go. it really isn't very good.Sounds ok in that video. Not my thing but sounds better than expected given what everyone's saying.
haven't directly followed the Chapman guitars intros but those guitars....are really nice. the more I want an ss the more I like them.Chappers hot rod guitar in that video is the bomb by the way.
Have you guys seen the video where they introduced it.
a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. eloquent. It would have been cool in my student/apartment dwelling days. But it's a bit of a solution without a problem. Most people who record or use iPads and such already have decent speakers either on their computer or stereo (do you still call it a stereo? Or am I just old?)
I wish modelling companies would spend more time perfecting some basic models rather than trying to do everything in one box. I have a Mustang III, which I admit I use more for practicing/jamming than my tube amps because of the convenience (and, I admit, the weight!). But I pretty much use only the classic Fender models (which are quite good, to tell the truth). But it took me a while to get past the (mostly lame) preset tones (which seem to be directed at the kids-jamming-in-GC market) and dig down to the basic models and how to work them properly.
