I'm not seeing anything all that new and interesting on the X3 Live there.
The PodX3 seems to have some new options and a little better interface.
But inherently it's all kind of moot if the sounds aren't better than the existing tech. I get some good sounds out of my XT and XT Live but all I really use is about 5 different amps total and tweak them for different guitars.
The Bogner/Line6 amp is tempting!Line6 preamp models wit Bogner designed TubePoweramp....Could be great!
I honestly thought someone Photoshopped the Bogner label on that thing.

The new PODx3 looks funny too.
That made a few days that the dad of the famous POD made in the effect of advertisement on its site, and it is by the skew of a foreign store that suspense could end well. If the information resulting from this escape is exact, and any door to believe that they are it, Line 6 would launch out in the amplifier to tubes with the combo Spider Valve 212 and his little brother, Spider Valve 112, both conceived in collaboration with Bogner!
It should well be admitted that all that the purists could reproach modelings of small kidney bean, it is to sound a little too numerical and to miss heat and dynamics specific to the tube amplifiers. Having heart to answer this criticism, Line 6 thus joined Bogner, large specialist in the whole top-of-the-range lamp, to heat his algorithms. Here specs of Spider Valve 212.
* Amplifier 40W with 2 tubes 12AX7 on the level of the préampli and 2x 6L6 on the level of the amplifier of power.
* 2 HP of 12” Premium Celestion® Vintage 30.
* 12 modelled models of amplifier.
* 7 effects “Smart control”: Type echo, multi-TAP Delay, Sweep echo, Flanger/Chorus, Phaser, Tremolo and Reverb
* 36 programmable memories.
* More than 200 sounds of recognized artists.
* Exit XLR of the POD® 2.0.
No price was still announced, obviously…
