Locking tuners for Strats

I`ve used the Fender locking tuners for USA , MIM and MIM Telecaster necks and they fit perfect. Anyone know if the Fender brand locking tuners will fit the Japanese made Strat necks?

they should fit no problem. i have an '84 MIJ strat neck and fender/schaller tuners fit it perfectly. most, if not all fenders with modern style tuners use a schaller like tuner with two pins to hold it in place. you should be fine with them as long as it doesn't have vintage style tuners obviously lol.

every jap strat i've played (including the one i own) has kluson style units, the vintagey looking ones..

be careful, i'd need to drill the holes slightly wider in my strat to fit schallers or gotohs..
