That is one great guitar! I need one of those! For the life of me, With all of the space-age double stick tape why in the heck are they still mounting pickguard's with screws.

'Cause they're supposed to last for decades of use, abuse, climate changes, gigs, angry/drunk bar patrons etc. I doubt there's a sticky tape adhesive that could go through all of that.

Plus, you know, guitarists are notoriously slow to accept change. "If it ain't broken"...

I wouldn't want a stuck on pickguard because if it was on firm enough to stay, I wouldn't be able to get it off without trashing something. How many of us never work on these things?
