NGD X2

I've seen straps for double necks that wrap around your waist like a belt. Maybe there is some sort of harness that will make things a little easier.

I am heading out to practice in a bit. I will see how it sounds and performs with the band today. I know even if it is a pain to play the band will want me to use it live for the coolness factor.

You gotta carry it around in a case to gigs for the foreseeable future? Eww...

We might do two or three shows this year and there will be people hired to move stuff. I haven't lugged an amp or guitar in years outside of going to the studio.

looks good! a little odd they have the covered pups on the six string and uncovered on the 12

My thoughts exactly. I don't think I am actively chasing changing the pickups unless I stumble across a good deal somewhere. My Mom & Pop always have a pile of used pickups from swaps they have done so if I see something different there I may do a swap. But the guitar sounds fine the way it is.

When I finally change the string on this maybe I will swap out the covers.

Awesome. I bet that's a whole lot of fun to mess around with. Enjoy! :bigthumb:

My BC Rich Ironbird pro has some pretty severe neck dive too. And w/ that pointy headstock it could easily take out some of my toes haha..I found that a leather strap (w/ the back unfinished) was pretty helpful w/ that and tbh now I hardly notice it at all..

Those guys make some nice instruments

You probably could have ordered one out of balsa wood in a Custom color if you wanted

I like all of mine

I would think that these days a double neck could be designed so it doesn't weigh 18lbs and would be usable for a whole set. I think people are stuck on the 'looks' of Page and Lifeson up there rockin' out. But a better, more functional instrument could certainly be designed.

I was thinking the same thing but even with the heavier body, the neck dive is insane. With a lighter body, it would be uncontrollable and unplayable.

What if it was made of carbon fiber? If it were headless, the hardware on the body would tip it back.
