NGD X2

I've seen straps for double necks that wrap around your waist like a belt. Maybe there is some sort of harness that will make things a little easier.

Dave, you couldn't get that out of the case, let alone pick it up...

I put strap locks on it today. I have installed them dozens of times over the years. This time the strap lock sunk into the wood. Yes, I was using a screw gun but I always do and have never had a problem. If this guitar is really mahogany it is the softest mahogany I have ever seen in my life. The strap pin is in the wood deep. I did the second one this time being super careful and the same thing. Still, I am not disappointed or mad, it is a $292 guitar, I expect surprises like this. So far I am enjoying it.

On a high note, I found a gig bag for it from a company that does their own budget double-neck guitars. $44 shipped for the bag! I thought the quality would be garbage at that price but it is pretty nice and fits like a glove. If anyone is looking for a budget gig bag for a single I highly suggest this company.

Well, a couple of months in and a little more time with it, how is the twin necked titan?

I have only pulled it out a couple of times. It is not really the best guitar for band practice. If I need to do a 12-string sound, it is easier to step on a chorus/harmonizer than tune up that beast and strap it on. We are doing promo pictures at the end of next month, and I will drag it out for a few of those pictures. After that, it will go on the wall in my office until I need it for a gig. Even then, it will only see one song. It is a cool guitar with a lot of wow factor but not the most practical instrument for everyday or even rehearsal play.

All that being said, it is a quality instrument. It sounds great and plays like a dream. Any issues I have with it, I would have with any double neck.

The five minutes I spent with an 18 string proved the were too unwieldy for me. One neck with 6 to 7 strings seems like plenty to me.

I saw this today. After playing my IYV I have no desire to even pick this beast up, not for one song, not even to look cool in a promo shot. Plus, I think you would look more like an idiot than cool.
