Well considering it's steve vai's signature amp, it's "suposidly" voiced similar to a bogner.

If you want that amp to sound as good as possible, put a Groove Tube 12AX7C in the first position or all positions, and next time you change the power tubes, put in JJ EL-34's.

A nicely designed tube amp always rests on the quality of tubes in it, and I'm not sure what comes in it from the factory.
