I've been gigging with a TU-2 on my board for years and it is an excellent solid tuner for live use. I bought a Snark chromatic clip-on tuner (the red one) about a year ago and it is fantastic. More accurate than the TU-2 and so easy to use.
For quick tuning in a gig situation I love the TU-2. For adjusting intonation (like I did a couple of days ago when I put the Wilkinson bridge on my Tele) the Snark is much better.
Come to think of it I could probably live without the TU-2 if I always had the Snark to hand. I do take comfort in the dependability of the trusty TU-2 though.

The last two posts echo the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" adage that applies to tuners. I had been using a TU-12 standalone tuner running from an A/B box for the last decade, but I needed to make more room on my board, so that setup had to go. Originally I was looking at the new Peterson, but it seemed akin to velcroing a brick to my pedal board. That's when I found the Turbo Tuner, and that's where my search ended. I'm soooo in tune now, it's scary.

Those Snarks are great tuners! But I still don't think mine will replace a good pedal tuner on my board. I use my Snark with my acoustic a lot or just around the house when I'm practicing. But for gigs and playing live I will always choose a pedal tuner (my Boss TU-2). The Snarks are really nice though.
Are you trying to give me g.a.s. for a Turbo Tuner!? Haha!
No, in a double twist of reversed reverse psychology, I was trying to steer you toward a Snark. And look what happened.
You don't want a Turbo Tuner. You've got too many tuners already.
