LTD EC-1000 Koa - on clearance at GC!

Just a heads up-
A couple of weeks ago I spotted a couple of ESP/LTD guitars, the EC-1000 Koa model, at my local Guitar Center. So I was back in there earlier this past week, wanting to check one out to see how it played. Well, they have now put them both on clearance and knocked a couple hundred bucks off the list price. (I believe they are now asking $799.) So if anybody's in the market for a nice new EC-1000, this might be a good deal.

Uh, oh yea I forgot to mention WHERE this is... (Doh!) That is the Guitar Center in Allen Park, Michigan, but I'm sure that deal can be found on their website, and I'd bet shipping is free, too.

No thanks. I could get a 2-year old MIJ Ibanez Prestige RG655 with 800 dollars, with plush hardcase, in mint condish. But if a POS ESP knockoff is something that satiates your impulsive GAS attack, go for it dude.

A friend of mine had one of those in green back in the mid nineties
It was so awesome
He brought it by the house and wouldn't let me touch it

Back it was $1200 back then

Maybe it was the ESP version

I've owned two ESP Eclipses, two EC1000s, an EC600 Gus G, and four EC400 series. The Ltds are about 90% the way to the ESPs. Think before you type... dude.

Reminds me of a kid on some dumb Facebook Fender group. He was bragging that his dad decided to lock up his 70’s Strat in a display case, permanently retiring it because they found out it was worth like three grand.

Well...if you don't mind paying $1200 for the Indonesian-made, poor-man's version of the original, MIJ ESP...then it is what it is. Just so you know, someone I know is selling his all-black ESP M-II for that kind of money.

Well it sounds like you won't be happy without insulting somebody, all i was trying to do was give people a heads-up. Actually the EC series is not my cup of tea either, but you are incorrect about both the price and the country of manufacture. I sure as hell didn't open this thread to start a war, geez lighten up!
