LTD MH-1000

When I was at my local guitar shop yesterday, when I bought the Ratsbane, they had a used LTD MH-1000 loaded with SD JB and 59 in blue. Ive been eyeing the purple version of this guitar for a while now. Well the used blue is well below the price of a new purple one.

Went back today with the Jackson 7 string that I never played along with a pedal I no longer wanted amd traded them both in on the LTD.

Took a couple of picts just now, not great but you get an idea. If I can get better picts, Ill post them up. Light ia yellow in that room so kinda hard to see the quilt top.

Looks like a nice guitar. To get it in trade on stuff you don't use, no cash involved, that's a killer score.

Congrats! Those are great guitars. I have two MHs but not a 1000 series. I really like the neck profile on mine. I almost bought that same guitar last year and the newer purple one. I have a MH-100 and MH-250 neck thru both with DiMarzio D Activators.

What pickups did you put in yours?

Custom5 / Little '59, the latter wired to a push-pull volume pot for series / parallel mode.

It came stock with a Pegasus / Hot Rails, but neither gave me the tones I wanted out of this axe. After the swap, it turned the guitar into Rock/ Metal greatness.
