Lullaby

Re: Lullaby

Ahh nice!

7 strings are like hen's teeth in the UK. I've only seen 4 in Manchester this year, and I own one of them...

And believe me ,with the right PU it will be best thing i can buy in 2 weeks.Otherwise i have to wait for 27 weeks to get a better one ,and i couldn't tell how much better!!!

Re: Lullaby

Nice looking guitar, but what is it? It seems a bit Caparison-ish, but I'm guessing it's a German brand?

Re: Lullaby

1900 Euro, $1000 USD? What guitars are you guys buying??

Including work done (blocking trem, setup, changing wiring) I've spent £200 on my 7 string :laugh2:
Your 7 string sounds really great.i like it.but i want a guitar to play it till i die ,so it would be clever to buy a high-end guitar (i don't mean gibsons or Strats wich could cost 500 bucks for that quality) ,with the right ingretiens and perfect playability right out the box.
I have a very nice peavey wich is 700 bucks and it is allmost perfect. But ,nothing compares with a hi-end hand made guitar with the right PU ,Bridge and well made robust finish!!

It is from poland ,i was in a concert ,i photographed the bands that day ,and one of the guys was an endorser of them.I talked to the guitarists(one of them is a good friend of mine and was a jackson endorser) and he is very happy!!!And the details are really great. The 7 string that i want is plain ,really beautifull ,but still a long lasting hi-end tool for my musical work. That's what i need.not 700 switching options and neon finish and gold caps and whatnot.
1 PU ,great susatin and sound ,neck-thru super confortable neck.No inlays and no tone pot.It has everything what i need ,and nothing what i don't.at least on my 7 string project.

Re: Lullaby

Of course, you have to pay extra for quality. My 7 string isn't high quality in the way a custom shop ESP 7 string would be or whichever brand you prefer, but I'm happy enough with it. It sounds + plays the way I want it to. I actually bought it for a dual purpose. As well as wanting a 7 string, I needed a solution for going to university. I play both standard and low tuned music, so a 7 string allows me to do both on one guitar. The fact that it's not a super expensive instrument means it'll be less of a disaster if it gets stolen than if I brought my favourite Ibanez (drop tuning) and Strat (standard tuning) :)

Re: Lullaby

Here's the one I want:

Thats a really great guitar CGord.I like it alot. But i hate ESP.I hate their policy and price tags.I hate how they copy everything so shameless.
BUt that guitar is one of the best on the market!!!.everytime i see it ,i want it LOL.But i would not buy an ESP as long as i can buy other ones in the same range.

That is ofcourse a fact.
I am 30 now ,i was in UNiversity ,i am almost finished with my PhD ,and i don have concerns if somebody can steal it or not.
I like the way you think and play ,and it is really smart to pay as much as you need is fulfilled.
My needs are mostly "less equipment" and the best i get.1 amp (wich i still didn't decide ,Engl ,Laney or Cornford)2 guitars. (1 seven and 1 six string),and some effects (Wah ,whammy and delay,or a g system.,).thats all.
I am not jonesing gear ,i am joinesing my music ,so i need the stuff wich are capable to do it.I am a big fan of marty friedmans sound and playing ,and he is a proof of "less is more" on his guitar choices!!

Re: Lullaby

it´s kinda a Pseudo Intro on a Black/doom/atmospheric death metal album.
a intro in the middle of the cd that precedes a great Ballad track. in this case, a doom metal song.
Q:p
KUDOS!!! UNHOLY DAEMONIC BARBECUE

This is what i really like to deliver in my songs. My mood!!Ofcourse i am really hardn' fast hitter with lots of gain and crushing riffs ,but there are another side of my emotions too.Still ,i like to mix every mood.
I am recording alot and mostly don't like them.I have 2 songs now wich i will make soon. You will realize that ,the major and minor feelings allways mixed together.i love that.Like Marty Friedman does.Just feel and play!!!
And thats why i love this place too.You guys give me pleasure to record and share.!!!
Thanx alot!!!:fingersx:
