That is as good as it gets with Ibanez necks. You can finish with Watco oil, or Tru-Oil. Watco will wear, and you will have same issue years from now, or use Tru Oil and it will take longer.

I detest fake "relic" guitars, but I do love the authentic look of a maple fretboard that has actually been played hard night after night for many years. It gives character!
u done a darn good job on the frets. Not waht i would consider "perfectly " crowned and polished, but there is lotsa meat and they look good. On Maple, when there is no fret life life, unless you have a strong vested interest in it, or its a vintage neck, tis done.
new guitar with maple neck and Watco. less than a month and it looked like I'd just changed out a transmission without washing my hands before playing. although naptha cleaned it up, I'll never go the Watco way again.
