Marshall DSL100HR midi switch

Does anyone know of a single button midi switch that can switch between the two master volumes on the newer Marshall DSL100HR and DSL40CR amps?
I know they make the 6 button switch but I really dont need that. I only use the classic gain crunch channel. I dont use the reverb or fx loop.
But it would be nice to have two masters one goosed a hair for leads.

It really depends on what kind of midi message you need (program change? CC? etc?). There is one here with 2 switches. Look at your Marshall manual and see what kind of messages the master volume switching needs.

According to google master volume is CC #14
I have no idea what any of that means. I have never dealt with midi.
I dont have a manuel for it.

You will need to find a manual. Not every midi controller can send every message. A CC message would likely be the actual setting of one particular master volume- like using an expression pedal (like a wah-type for Continuous Control) to send different values to one particular master volume, not switch between them.

This may work if it is capable of sending the right messages to switch between 2 master volumes (it should state that command in the manual).

As a guy that gets frustrated operating a cell phone. Sounds like maybe I oughta just buy the big honkin Marshall switch and just use the one button. Lol

Here is the manuel. It doesnt really say much as far as I can see. Its a pretty basic tells ya what each knob does kinda thing.

What I was looking for is the Midi Implementation Chart.

On your amp, is each Master a different channel? So it is a 2 channel amp?

If it is, the midi controller would need to send program change 1 on channel 1 for the first press, then program change 5 on channel 1 for the 2nd press (it states that amp channels mapped to every 4 program change values).

Its 2 channels each with 2 modes. The amp remember which master you assigned last to each channel. While its 2ch each with 2 modes. With the 6 button switch you can access each mode on its own switch. Way more than I need I just use it as a one channel amp.
There was a guy on ebay building simplified pedals for these amps 4 button and 2 button. I was gonna ask if he made or could make one just for the master vol. But now i cant find it.

Well, the midi information in the manual is pretty terrible..haha.
There is something at the end of the midi implementation chart which shows the Master volume having 2 modes- but it doesn't state what kind of midi message it is looking for to switch between them.
The manual also says there is a 2 way footswitch available as well as the 6 button one.

Yea the 2 way switch is a normal TRS 1/4" it switchs between classic gain and ultra channels and switchs the fx loop. I have that but dont use it.
Yea not much info about midi in the manual. Its basically a "buy our footswitch" kinda thing.
The 6 button switch is like an add-on for accessing everything on the new HR CR amps. The older DSL and JCM2000 DSLs didnt have the digital switching the latest versions have
