i've seen this little mini amp thing at guitar center many times. it's about the size of a stompbox. it looks like such a cool novelty i picked one up this past saturday for $39. i figured at the very least it would look kinda cool sitting on my desk. i didn't think it would even be very audible. i came home and just wanted to plug in quickly to see if it worked. WHOA, this little baby sounds cool! it sounded so cool, and louder than i thought, i couldn't put the thing down. my sg classic sounded very raw and dirty thru it. not a sound to have all the time but lo-fi filthy fun. i was having a blast! the best thing is that it can be a total feedback machine if i want it to be. basically, feedback for as long as i want. for a guy that records pretty much everything direct it's very cool to have the ability to generate some dirty feedback. i'm going to mic this thing and see what i can come up with. i'm having a heck of a lot of fun with it.

anyone else have one? what it is, 1 watt? it doesn't specify that.

Re: marshall ms2 microstack

nice! i have a feeling i may start collecting these little guys. i saw a fender one too. but i think it was a different model as it was sort of beige'ish in color.

is the ms-4 louder than the ms-2?

Re: marshall ms2 microstack

I've got the MS-4 too. great fun. fits nicely in a guitar case too for portable practice sessions...
