Marshall question.

Re: Marshall question.

What the **** are you talking about?

The older models come with the option of Verb and EQ. So, you lose, sir.

"Option". Not standard.

Besides, it's been confirmed there is no Marshall that comes with all those features. He'll have to look elsewhere or and/or add a reverb pedal.

Actually, another option is the Mission Aurora. Not exactly a Marshall clone but there's a good mix of Vox, Marshall, Fender and Matchless in them rolled in to one package. Check 'em out.

Re: Marshall question.

What about the DSL series Marshalls even though they lack the tube rectifier, they have an almost Fender clean tone and then they do the whole Marshall thing in spades? To me,the Marshall tone I Love is tight, crunchy, clear, and with balls in the lowend through the right cabinet..

Re: Marshall question.

The DSL is a good call...not too much cash, good cleans, nice reverb...

I loved this amp when it first came out Christian! Even though I'm not a fan of the 75 watt Celestions,Sam Ash had the 50 watt DSL plugged into a Marshall 1960A cab...I grabbed a "lefty" strat off the wall and really got along nice with this head....I almost bought one,but then didn't....Still a great amp and they can be bought used for very reasonable!

Re: Marshall question.

Yeah...but reverb pedals blow. Pardon my french.
What do the french have to do with it?

Have you tried out the EH Holy Grail or the Line 6 Verbzilla? Lew and John both praise and coming from them, that says a lot.

It's Kewl, d00d.

You can get old used 50/CLs on the bay with EQ and Verb for about $1,500.

Yeah, it's cool. :beerchug:

I should probably be more open-minded and try them. But I've tried a bunch of reverbs over the years, and it just doesn't sound right if it doesn't have springs. (and preferably in a Fender). :barf:

Verbzilla, '63 Spring setting, 'nuff said. Try it, you may like it.

Re: Marshall question.

If you have any doubts or questions on it, ask Lew and John (STRATDELUXER97). They have it and have raved on it recently. Lew got John to buy his.

Re: Marshall question.

Alright, if that many people are raving, it's worth checking out...but it better be good. :bigok:

Excellent sounding reverb pedal(The Verbzilla)! Heavy as hell and makes a great doorstop and paperweight also when you aren't playing through it..:biglaugh:
