Mesa Boogie Express with duo-class

Mesa keeps coming out with great amp designs and the express looks like no exception. I like the fact that you could switch between a gig volume 50 watts to a recording volume 5 watts is really cool. they also added this feature to the lone star series so now you can switch from 100 to 50 to 5 watts per channel. Un fortunately, most stores don't carry mesa so i haven't been able to try them out. What do you guys think about the express series and duo-class? About how much do the expresses cost?

on a side note, do some mesas like the lonestar and f-series really come close to a fender clean?

Re: Mesa Boogie Express with duo-class

I heard that the f-series actually had the best mesa clean, but unfortunately they were recently discontinued. Do you know if the clean on the lonestars is as good?

Re: Mesa Boogie Express with duo-class

I have no experience with the lonestars and very little with the Express series. My comments were for the F-series. it seems that the Express series is an upgrade to the F-series anyway.
