Simple answer:
A '96 MIM strat was my first electric.
I still have it.
It is stock.
It sits right next to my Gibson LP that is anything but stock.

my friend had 1 of these craftsmanship not as good on these my friend kept on snapping b strings because the tuners werent beveled out well and the edge inside kept snapping strings and the neck had warpage that had to go back to the shop in 2 diffrent sessions because if they adjusted it to the full extent it would of snapped the neck so the neck had to settle and adjusted the rest of the way

I've only tried one, the JV strat at a nearby guitar center. I didn't like it. Just felt.....cheap to me compared to the American Strats I played. But that's me.
