Mics for an Epiphone SG G400

Re: Mics for an Epiphone SG G400

Sorry, can u tell me which us the C8? I don't know it.

C5 with an A8 magnet. Gives it more mids and output, and less treble, keeps the tight low end. If you want a hard-hitting bridge PU, C8's are great.

Hello, I asked to a friend of mine to bring me a 59 set, in the meanwhile, what do you think about putting the Alnico II Pro Slash (Aph-2) set?

Re: Mics for an Epiphone SG G400

got an epi g400 as well and did my first pickup swap on it with pg1n & pg1b , i have not really sat down and really push the range of it yet but so far I am happy with the difference, those pickups gave life to the guitar

The stock Epi PU's in their SG's never seem to sound that good. Definitely worthwhile to upgrade them. You can really get some nice tones then.
