Mini Humbuckers

Hi. New to the board.
Was wondering if you guys can help me find a mini humbucker that has tone for Metal/Hard Rock.
I was leaning toward the SM-2 Bridge but would like opinions first before I shell out the bux.

What kind of guitar is it going into and what kind of amp/effects are you playing through?

Hamer Eclipse through a Crate GLX 1200H with EQ pedal.
I can use the EQ to get the tone I want but I guess I'm used to a different sound.

The SM-2 will definately work if you use a lot of gain or if youre Hamer's on the dark side 9tone wise).

if it's somewhat bright, the SM-3 might be a better choice, as it has alnico mags and a bit rounder top end.

Thanks. It's a little bright for my taste. In fact, the neck pickup is closer to what I like.
