^^ OMG that is almost EXACTLY like a vintage Fender Bassman!! It's so similar to what the original poster asked about, especially the fact that it's a vintage Fender and not something completely different or unrelated.

Exactly the same except this one is $2000 and a real vintage one can be grabbed for like $400.

There's a '65 BF on the San Francisco Bay Area Craigslist right now for 300. Or at least it was last night. I'm too tired to check after watching Rush rock the house.

There is however someone on the Modesto CL with one. But he's trying to sell the head and cab together. You should go for it.

actually both y'all are wrong

yes the 5f6a is both a tweed bassman and a plexi, but the amp(s) in question is a late bf/early SF bassman, which really doesn't have much in common at all with either the marshall or the tweed, it's a completely different circuit
