Damn you day job for getting in the way of guitar building - but some progress made tonight .Got the pickup cavity routed,jack mounted with connecting hole, and volume cavity with cover recess routed

Black with copper metal flake tribal flames ?

Got the tummy contour carved and the rear edges rounded over.Also thinned the heel down a fraction

Yep, strap lock button , never liked rear mounter strap knobs

Got some primer/filler sprayed on today ,it did say military spec on the side of the can - looks kinda like an apex

Got the black base coats on today ,also reshaped the headstock a little and applied my logo

Thanks Random ,my sons names are Christian Astle and Zakk , the CAZ in ChAoZ , I like to think I put my best effort in knowing their names are on the guitar

flat sanded the top of the guitar and applied masking tape over the whole face

Then used the tribal flame stencils i made to lay them out in pencil on the tape

Flames all cut out ,just need some tidying up
