Modding a wah for true bypass..

Ok, my Dunlop Original Crybaby (GCB-95) is KILLING my high end. I've heard modding wah pedals for true bypass is pretty easy, but what exactly do I need to do it?

I'm doing one right now. Hope to have it done later tonight. The 1st wiring
diagram I had was no good. I'm trying a new one now.I have a older 80's
model that I believe is EZer to mod. You need a DPDT switch or a 3PDT.
The newer GCB-95's(1990 on) may require you to cut some of the Trace's in your PCB? I DUNNO! Hope SD97 (John) will chime in and set us straight.

Mike Fuller has good drawings for true bypass on his website,but these are only for the the externally mounted input and output model wahs...

I've not done true bypass on the board mounted jack types of wahs....I've avoided those like the plague actually because of the trace scraping and such...It's not that I can't do these pedals,but I've chosen not to at this point...

Best way to open a pcb trace:

Make two parallel cuts across the trace (perpendicular to the trace) about 1/8” apart.
Apply your soldering iron to the trace between the two cuts. The heat will soften the glue holding the cut piece and it will come off the PCB with just a little pressure from the iron tip.

The resulting gap is small enough that you can bridge / repair the run if you change your mind.

Your drawing looks OK to me.
Make sure that your switch is not rotated 90 degrees.
Each pole on the switch shown in your drawing is aligned vertically with the center terminal common to the top and bottom terminals. (not left to right)
Use an ohm meter / continuity tester to verify

Small bear has the switches for around $10 Or you can get em' for
around $6 on fleabay.
