When I had guitars that existed within low and moderate budget in terms of pricing, I loved to experiment.
I did everything from changing tuners to scalloping the fretboard.
However, I have a Gibson I could have played stock until I died with glorious results.
It’s a shame to admit but I think after a certain type of budget the need to mod is less and less.
I have an explorer, it came pretty stock looking but I decided to bling it up but it’s all aesthetic.
