Gunny, I'd rather not talk money open on the forum but I will tell you this...I paid way less than the amp is worth! Also, I caontacted 3 other builders about the V Front super and then Bruce (for a total of 4 builders) and Bruce used the best parts of anybody and was also less money!

May I ask...why are you hung up on MM trannys?

Anyway, Bruce will treat you right I have faith...like I said, IMO he's the best! There are loads of killer tube techs in or around Atlanta where I live and I even mess with amps a little on my own but I sent my Twin all the way to Bruce for work because he's so good!

I do not know anything about transformers really. I always thought that the MMs were the best in a tweed clone... Sorry about asking price, Im just curious. Is it possible to get a PM or no? Thanks!

I'm working up an interesting tweed for jeremy right now. He's going to build a 3 speaker tweed combo, but he's going to use two 10's and one 12. We're going to make it so he can run any single speaker, or any combination of two, or all three. He should be able to adjust his clean headroom darn near on the fly.

It ought to be pretty sweet when I get her up and going. I'll stack my parts up against any parts anyone else is using.

I agree with Scott... non of those tweed guys are using components that are that special and are riding on brand name recognition now.
Truthfully, I think some of them are running scared too.
Anyone of you homebuilders could build one just as good with a little help and nudge in the right direction in regards to simple parts selection.
