I come from the 1970s (in fact, I'm still there). If i see paint, I strip it off.

The only colors I don't do are pink, yellow, puple, tan, etc.
Got most of the rest covered.
My main strat is Fender's rarest shade of blue. Blue pearl dust with black guard and aged white pickups/knobs.
I'm big on bursts and black too.
And one of my favorite guitars with more rock and metal mojo than all others.
Incidentally bought on the day Ronnie James Dio passed away, and it's the guitar made in my birth month in the year I was married. This guitar was intended to be one of my main guitars, and it has been.
Gold unoriented roughcast A5 Custom 5 and stock Burstbucker 1 neck. Possibly the best SG there is!

For a second I thought you were going to tell us that if you have your guitar refinished in a hotter color, you can offset that with a magnet swap, possibly to something rough cast or unoriented...

As you can see I didn't get the message. Reminds me of halloween.
My strat covers anything from blues,jazz,R&B,Funk,Country,Pop,Gospel,Hard rock,metal.
My Dean Razor Back is for when I need to make a visual statement. Believe it or not I used to play that in church as my #1.

Your right with the Lil Demon but thats a PG in the neck with UOA5 and a Custom 8 in the bridge.
I have been thinking about a JB but ima wait and see how the Zephyrs sound in her.
