Want a pedal that does script and block? 4 stage and 2 stage? Small enough to reflect how often you actually need to use phaser?

Sorry for the ginormous promo shot.

I really have the itch to build a micro board again!

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

I love phaser! I use mine all the time (either a Small Stone, or a model in a Fractal). It isn't a sound you hear a lot these days, which is why I like it. This one seems like a winner.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

nice! a phaser i might actually use

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

I use my Phaser all the time.

Tbat's a pretty neat box if you need all the MXR style phase tonez.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

That's pretty cool. No doubt it's all surface mount, multi-layer board. That's the only way to fit that circuit in a layout that small. I use my Whirlwind Orange Box a lot. I love that phaser. It is the original script circuit.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

Yeah, definitely SMT, but more reliable than my vintage Phase 45 and no doubt better sounding than the digital models. Cool sweet spot like the Tube Screamer mini.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

There could be some digital in this one for all we know. That's a pretty small footprint. The original circuit has a lot of components. A small digital chip to perform some of the functions can eliminate a lot. Add in the SMT for stability and filtering and there ya go. So, it's either all analog SMT or some digital and SMT.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

I doubt it is digital, it would be easy to fit analog SMT for a phaser on that size PCB. SMT is crazy small now days.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

I'd love to see some more Micro pedals from them too, I love my Carbon Copy to death and the only time it leaves my board is when I don't have any room left for it. A micro version would definitely fix that.. I'm also kind of hoping that Boss gets into the Micro game as well too, I would buy a mini TR-2 in a minute.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

So is the TR-2 that Timmy mentioned wanting a mini of.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

I have a phase 90. can someone explain the tonal differences tween reg and script and the other features?

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

OT, but this is a great mini tremolo. Way better than the TR-2 or the Dano.

Re: MXR answered the phaser question...

Holy mother ^%$%^$ing WIN!!!!!!! And I'm not even a Phaser guy.

Sure, that's no

Nor is it one of these

But dang - that'll do all the Phaser any sensible guitarist would ever want…. I'm always surfing for a good deal on a Phase 45.
