So besides the Phase 90, what are some go to MXR pedals, dont care what type, just looking at some ideas of pedals of the MXR flavor

Classic MXR pedals include the Dyna Comp, MXR Flanger, Distortion + and Micro Amp along with the Phase 45.

There are a few modern pedals that will be classics too like the Carbon Copy, Classic 108 Fuzz, Analog Chorus and Wylde OD.

Dyna Comp, Distortion + and Micro Amp in my opinion and I want to add the Super Badass Distortion. it's not a classic MXR pedal but it gets the job done and I think it deserve a chance

What do you like about the CCmini versus the full size one? Probably ordering a few pedals tonite to add to my sparce board of a Tumnus and Red Witch Delay

2 differences

Its smaller -and most of my gigs are long travel -so weight and size is important to me.

It is a combination of 2 classic Carbon Copys in one single pedal -Carbon Copy and Carbon Copy Bright. -so more functionality in smaller package.

No prob -the switch is on the side to change it into the Carbon Copy Bright version.


Also, MXR Distortion pedals -literally any of them are great -I like Distortion +, Super Badass, Custom Badass, 78 Badass.

They really don't make a bad one that I've messed with.

So in my basket have the CC mini, analog chorus, flanger and Phase 95, think Im good?

No but Im fighting something thats going through the house so Im not of my full mental capacity. I take nonresponsibility of whats ordered when sick.

The Script reissue of the Phase 90 is their best phaser IMO, good enough to forgo the versatility provided by the 95. The only downside is that you have to either use the 9v battery, or bring your own 9v adapter to leave hanging out of the enclosure.

Ok, flanger is gone, realized its 18v, Im,not set up,for that, so traded a 6 band eq pedal instead of the flanger.

Ended up skipping the chorus for now, so ordered 6 band eq, phase 95 and carbon copy mini

The Phase 45 & Dyna Comp are my favorites. I didn't mind the CC until I heard the Vapor Trail.

I have a bunch of older MXR stuff, but I recently got a Micro Amp + which is a nice clean boost with some EQ capability. I got tired of the Klon type boosts and this is a nice change of pace.
