To me, it doesn't sound like Eddie at all, though it does sound like you. It comes across as smooth, fat and round but still clear. Middy, but well balanced. I actually enjoy it the way it is. It seems you like your tone yourself as well. :bigok:

What is wrong with your playing? I thought it was just fine. : )
I heard plenty of brown BTW.
FWIW, In the future just step away from the Phone or camera so the acoustic sound of your strings doesn't come through.

i actually flipped the mic the other way to minimize string noise. a mic and interface are on my list.

Name me the last time you didn't see somebody put "excuse the sloppy playing" when they upload a video.
Playing was fine dude, and my only advice would be not to apologize for your 'sloppy playing' next time....sorry, just a pet peeve.

It's really had to say if it sounds like VH without playing some rhythm. Doesn't sound bad at all but IMO, it's not VH tone without a delay of 2-300ms with moderate feedback in the delay. Van Hager-era adds mild pitch shift or chorus to the delay.
