Ahoy hoy!
Long time lurker, first time poster. Rah rah rah, thought I'd kick things off with a recent project of mine, my B.C Rich frankenslinger!
I'm a B.C Rich artist and own a few of their Gunslinger Retros. One night I noticed the yellow one would be a perfect starting point for an EVH bumblebee attempt, so I had a fiend of mine do it for me and it turned out great!
For added authenticity haha.
This is it with my other gunslinger. I have an SH4 in the frankenslinger which sounds amazing. Perfectly suited for this style of build, of course. I've put an SH6 in the green gunslinger. It's been really interesting comparing the two pickups in exactly the same guitar. I play metalcore and melodic death metal, the SH6 is a more 'traditional' fit for my style of music, and our tuning (drop C#) but I LOVE how crisp and dry the SH5 sounds, it's my favourite of the two.
Anywho, thought I'd share!
