Re: My 'Cornchopper' build
Classy is cool but most guitars that roll off the line today are "classy" and remain that way until the people either sell them or put them away to collect dust. I'm fascinated by guitars that have been loved. I don't know how I'll ever wear the finish off my Squier's Lacquer... (Maybe a body swap later for something more resonant-soft). A Floyd completely changes the guitar; though I've always loved Eddie and the way he hacked his guitars. That being said, I don't know if that's the direction I want to go. But it's tempting. Also, on the topic of hacking, his Explorer had seen better days...
PS. Do many people leave guitars at your place for the weekend then? :laugh2:
Seriously though, your tele looks amazing. I love it.
If you aren't careful, you might end up with a gem like this:

If I that thing spent a weekend at my house, it would have a pickguard cut from a Tennessee liscense plate, then it'd truly be worthy of the name "Cornchopper". Either that or I'd put a nickel cover over the neck and add +3 points to the "Classy" score. But it's your guitar, if you improve on it, let us know, if you inadvertently make it worse, we'll try to help.
