Re: My current amp collection. Pics!

Yep, they are all damn sweet! I'd have a real problem deciding what guitar to play through which pedals into which amp :scratchch but what a problem to have :beerchug:

Re: My current amp collection. Pics!

New marshall head looks nice!

I got that three weeks ago. I had a heck of a time wrangling it away from the original owner. He listed it on Craigslist, we agreed to meet, then he changed his mind because it was killing him to let it go. He finally called me a week later and sold it to me. It even came with a custom leather cover!

After sitting in a closet for decades, he pulled it out and took it to Zakk Wylde's guitar tech, a major pro tech in LA to have it tubed, biased, and recapped just to make sure it's 100%. The tech told him to never sell it as it's a killer sounding absolutely mint museum quality 2204. The guy makes his living modding Marshalls, and said he wouldn't even do it to this amp, it's that good.

I couldn't even believe it when I saw it in person. It's 100% flawless.....not even a fingerprint on the chassis! It looks as if I pulled it out of the carton in 1986.

Now, I need to throw my crappy Olympus camera away and get something that takes clear pics. :grumble:

Nice!! Oooh, Firebird with full size hums. Sweeeeet! Couldn't tell you how many times I've nearly bought a bird with the plan to route it for buckers. Decided to make the body style an option for my guitars too but haven't built one yet, it's on the to do list.

Nice.

Not a lot of stuff I typically go for, but I can appreciate the time and effort you put into deciding what to acquire and what to keep.

Re: My current amp collection. Pics!

pretty sweet man. For practice, nothing beats the older model Valvetronix before they came out with the awful generation of the xl series. I comment on that out of everything because I think the feel of these little ams best mimics the feel you havewhen playing through a real amp. I'd like to try a blackstar HT5 combo though... I hear that's basically another hybrid though.

Have you thought about anything of the Dumble flavor?
