By myself, I just choose something and go with it. When I walk into a gig or session, I bring what I think will fit in tone, vibe, and look. This week for an iconic Afro Caribbean artist, it's a Godin LG P90 into the Fender Pro Reverb, as well as my Cordoba C5-CE w/an amazing pedal I just discovered - the Boss Multi Overtone pedal. It makes a nylon string sound like it's got some organ and steel drum overtones.
You pretty much answered here what I was going to ask: When you have that rare Saturday or Sunday afternoon, when you have a moment to yourself, and you just want to jam . . . what do you pick up, and plug into?![]()
