My wife if going to KILL me, but just got this LP on Ebay...Should be here Tuesday and I can't wait!

By the way, I'm gonna put a set of Duncans in it, should I go with double blacks and black/creme? Which do you think will look better?

a set of zebra's(black/cream) would look awesome in that lp. Of course the gold plated covers look the best though

looks great man. I like the look of the gold covers but if you want to go coverless i think the double black would look nice.

Its a tough call, but since you already have the black/white contrast thing going,
a set of zebra's would certainly set it off nicely. ;)

Or you could go floor shop custom order, and get black and white, instead of cream and white.

VERY NICE SCORE!!!

Black is pretty sleek on a guitar, but I think white is just as sleek & classy. Maybe it's the simplicity, but I love them.

And FWIW I'd keep it gold too!

Yeah, it will be tough. I've already changed my mind from what I said above.
Now that I look at it some more, a set of all blacks would help to balance out the amount of white in the body.

I'm with you Artie. I have decided on all black pups. Now if I can just make my mind up for either a 59/JB or a APN-1/JB.....Decisions, decisions!

Why are you thinking in changing the pickups if you haven't tried the guitar already? Do you know the stock ones? May be you'll like them...
