My Latest kit build...SG style

Built it for a friend of mine. Tried to capture the Gibson look of the seventies. (I'm not a fan of the diamond plate...but he is)

very cool! I agree about the pg and truss cover tho. would look cool on black, but not so much on the faded brown. But to each his own.. what pups are in it?

Not sure of model numbers, but they are Dimarzio's I removed from one of his other guitars and replaced with SD's. Thanks for your kind words.

I think the diamond plate actually fits it quite nicely. It creates a cool contrast to the more classic brown IMO. Though I never understood why Gibson bothered putting that silly piece of scratch plate between the neck and neck pickup.

I like it , I am not even Big on on Sgs. The diamond Pick guard just does not fit in, maybe if the guitar was another colour hmm black.

Thank you! Actually bought it on Ebay. Don't remember the name, I know it was just 3 letters. The headstock was a large rectangle. I drew this freehand and cut it with a jigsaw.
