NAD, Fender. Two wrongs make a right! (and so do 3 lefts)

I started the wrongs by getting a deal I couldn't pass up on a new Fender Bassman 810 Pro 2,000W Bass Speaker Cabinet. Perfect for home use, right?

Then to drive it, I followed up with another good deal on a '87-'88 vintage red knob Fender Dual Showman freshly serviced with new caps, and new matched 5881 tubes.

Again, perfect for home use, right? Right? I can't hear you. Hummm... I can't hear anything right now.....

Love stories about fateful opportunities. I built a rig once with an Eden World Tour deal, which was followed by a guy giving away an XLT210, followed by finding a used XLT210 at GC (mispriced). It's my vertical stack when needed. My main cab is a new Fender 410. (same speakers as those you have) It rocks.

I know that Dual Showman came with a gray grillcloth, but if you intend for those two to be a set, you should re-grill it with matching silver cloth.

I'll bet that thing pushes some air!

The old amps are great, but the new speakers and cabs are definitely better than the old ones.

My intentions exactly. I'll keep the red knobs so it will still have a little different look to it.
