I've been eyeballing one of these for ages but never really get a good chance at trying one out.

How would you say the tone shifts when putting it in half-power mode? Is it a lot darker?

To me it seems to lose some of the bottom end and the mids. Still can growl like a Marshall but it doesn't have that thick bottom end in half mode.
