this thing ROCKS! It's got a single El34 as opposed to EL84s or 6v6s. Celestion V30 in it too. No fx loop unfortunately, but it's a great amp for rocking out at home!

It's a 5 watt combo slash signature amp. They made it in 2013 and then discontinued it in the US (from what I understand it's still available in the UK). It's a little less gainy than the DSl5, but being a slash sig it's obviously got enough for the 80s hard rock stuff. Sounds great, I love it.

Those are cool little amps. I'm kind of glad they made it a limited run, since they were a little pricey. At least you know it'll hold most of it's value. I wish most low wattage amps would use one EL-34 or 6L6. It's a bit fatter sounding with less rattiness in the high end.
I sure wish they'd make that amp in a 20W head.......like a smallbox version of the Slash AFD.

I agree Gearjoneser.. I find EL84s too dark in most applications. I dont know why bigger tubes arent used more. (just less of them obviously) I must admit some of the small El84 amps are getting much better.

I'm looking forward to hearing the new Victory Amps "The Countess" when it appears for that very reason; that'll come with the ability to fit either.
