NAMM Pictures Please!!!

Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but if there's anyone going to the NAMM Show, bring your camera and post pics here. I can't go, but there's a lot of new gear we'd all love to see.

Since it's a few days off, maybe we can list some gear that we'd love to get some pics of. I'm really interested in the new Bogner Duende and PRS line.

I'm sure we'll see lots of good Duncan Booth pics, but someone pleeeze get some pics of Bogner, Diezel, PRS, Fender, Gibson, Mesa, Matchless, Marshall, Line 6, Vox etc.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday w/ my new digital camera in hand. When I went in '04 I did a photo gallery and plan to do so again this year.

I've said that before plenty of times, but when you're there you just get so enthralled in checking everything out that you just say the hell with it. NAMM is a real sensory overload. There's just sooooooooo much stuff there that it almost bores you......if that makes sense.

+1. After the '04 show, I didn't think I'd want to attend another. I guess I was wrong on that one.

I was overcome by anti-GAS. It occurred to me that there's always something bigger/better just around the corner and that worrying about having the latest/greatest is a fool's errand. I still mostly feel that way.

I was there last year, had a nice time, but left after half a day. Too much for me. This is a trade show where manufacturers are trying to show gear to the resellers and trying to get orders for said products. So, it's a big event for the guys that are selling their wares, wanting to sign up dealers and for dealers to schmooze with the principals.

There's really not a lot of room for a bunch of wankers like us.

i wish i could go just to give my new camera a workout lol.

see there is a plan for taking photos at a show like that...i know from car shows. you do your lap with no camera first and drool and take mental notes of the cool stuff. then take a second lap with the camera taking tons of pics.
