New Extension Cab Day

Found a pair of Peavey 112SX cabs, Sheffield loaded. Picked up the pair for a buck fifty.

Now, I'm not a speaker connoisseur by any means, but I do know that a) I like the Sheffield in my Express b) That they are supposed to be some sort of Celestial Greenback copy, and that c) EVH uses them in one of his 5150 cabs.

Considering that and that I have a matching Peavey Express, a Tubemeister 18 that is in need of a cab full-time, and a Marshall that would 100 watts of Stereo awesome....I give you baby stacks!

It's fun because that Marshall actually fits better on top of Peavey cab than Peavey

That's a pretty good score. I have the Sheffields in my 4x12, never had a complaint.

on a side note I just ordered an Emi ManOwar to throw in a 1x12 I have to run with my Bassbreaker 15 combo.

There are a number of slight variations in the Sheffield over the years. Like I said - sounds fine to me.

Also, the Marshall is actual not as good a fit, although a better size match. Amp feet set on corners and such. Just not quite as solid as the Express.
