Anyone know how a stock Dean Import Humbucker translates to a Seymour Duncan as far as color coding?
The Deans have One Bare, One Red and One White
Yall know the SDs have One Bare, One Green, One White, One Black, One Red and are usually bare+green, white+red, black wired.
The trouble is the Deans are wired to push pulls in a Les Paul style guitar so the 3 way is way up near the neck on top. There are wires running from the pots only to the 3 way. Currently the humbuckers are wired into the push pull with the bare soldered to the top of the 6 post deal.
See my very rough drawing below:
How can I wire the Duncans into the 6 posters without having to rewire the entire guitar?
