I acquired one of these,http://www.samash.com/ProductDispla...p_category=&parent_category_rn=&storeId=10001
An LTD TE-202 Tele copy..I paid next to nothing for it, so I'm putting some money into it to make it a solid player..Here's what I have so far.
-SD. Quarter Pounder tapped for bridge
-SD Phat cat neck
-Stew Mac shielding paint for cavity
-Graph Tech string saver saddles
-Grover 18-1 tuners

Since I'm doing everything else, I figure why not do a Tusq nut as well? I'm not sure what size will be a perfect fit..It says standard 42mm. in the specs. I'm also looking for input on pots/wiring ideas for the above pickups..I would like to use a 4 way switch to tap the QP. opposed to a push/pull..I'm a mental midget with these things, so detailed advice, and direct links to purchase hardware would be greatly appreciated..

Now do you mean coil tapping or coil splitting? There's a big difference between the two. If you want splitting, you can't do it because the Quarter Pounder is a single coil.

I'm no good at wiring or electronics really, but I wanted to get that cleared up for everyone else.

Overall that looks like a sweet setup for some garage rock/ hardcore punk. If I was going to do it, I'd put a Hotrails in the bridge and a 59 in the neck, but that's just me.

The QP has an option to cut the output in 1/2..Not coil splitting, cutting the output in 1/2.

The SSL-4T is tappable to offer roughly half of the full DC resistance.

The bad news is that a four-way selector switch cannot be wired for automatic tap/split. You need both poles for the series connection business.

A four pole Megaswitch will not fit inside the control cavity with resorting to a custom control plate.

I was hoping that wasn't the case..So what pots for that set up? 250'S? 500'S? And the right nut is something i need to figure out..

Well the pots depend. If you want the QP to be darker, then go with a 250. If you want it brighter, then go with a 500. I think it's a really bright pickup, and would do the 250, but it's your choice.
