And you explained that where? Lol you didn’t.

Those are not really on-on-on switches. But you can make them do what you want.

Re: Need help with wiring my mustang

Im very new to forums so please bear with me.
Can no one see the picture i posted at 3:14pm?
Because that picture has a snapshot of my actual pickups and switches mounted on my mustangs pickguard! It also says my pickups are single sloted double coil hot rail pickups. It also shows the pickups color code and even states how i would like the 2 switches wired up with a blank image of that type of switch to where all u gotta do is tell me what color wire goes where on the switch.
So yes if that picture isnt showing up for yall i get ur confusion and let me know because that picture i posted could be any clearer and explains what i need help with completely!!!!!!

He explained what he's looking for in the picture he posted.

I recommend using a 3 way toggle to switch between pickups, and maybe using the dumb Mustang switches for split/phase whatever options. My first guitar was an old Mustang. If you use one pickup setting and stick with it all night, those switches are fine. If you like to change a lot, it's terrible.

Ah... didn’t zoom in.

I have a ‘72 Mustang with Lawrence L-250s in it. The wiring is stock. I never minded the switches.

This should do it. Just wire both switches the same.

Where are you located? Avoid Guitar Center. I’ve seen nothing but poor work come out of those places. Then I get asked to fix it! I charge $250 for a refret, which is a typical price.

Funny thing is the frets on my ‘72 Mustang are heavily worn, but it doesn’t buzz at all.
