I'd put the guitar playing the melody a lot higher in the mix, I donno why - I really wanna hear that part loud and open.

No it is not my band. This demo is from one of my favourite portuguese bands called Xutos e Pontapes. I agree with you. The guitar solo part is kind of hard to hear. I have seen the video for the song and it is alot better.
